Herbie's Chickens
Everyone L-O-V-E-D these adorable chickens that Herbie Morin shared in March. You know that you want to make some of your own. By popular demand, Herbie will show us how to make them; she will even show us how to draw the beaks on fabric.

SUPPLIES:
• 18" square of pale fabric for background
• 18" sq backing, 18" sq batting
• 18" tulle -- if you do not have any there will be some at SOS
• 2+ yards binding
• scraps of white, yellow, red for comb & wattle, beak, eyeball
• buttons for eyes (optional)
• bright, crazy prints for the bodies of chickens.
• Optional: draw & cut out a bowling-pin paper pattern
    -- 12" high and 6" wide at fattest point.
    -- This is the basic shape of our chickens.

• a quart zip lock bag
• red pencil for coloring
• fine black fabric pen
• 12" ruler or 6" ruler
• paper scissors, sewing scissors, rotary cutter
• Sewing machine, thread, standard supplies

PQG will provide irons and ironing boards, cutting mats.
We will also have paper for drawing patterns and 2-sided fusible.
