Pensacola Quilters Guild was established in 1983. Our mission is to stimulate interest in quilts and advance the art of quilt making. We provide educational programs in design and technique involved in creating quilts. Traditional quilts have our heart, but we are open to all quilt styles and our talented, dedicated quilters reflect the best in quilting for the 21stcentury.
Pensacola Quilters Guild holds two meetings each month - a morning meeting and an evening meeting. See the Event Calendar for specific information. Visitors are encouraged to attend meetings of their choice.
Our members make and donate over 100 quilts each year to veterans, Ronald McDonald House, Life Options Clinic, Gulf Coast Kids House, Habitat for Humanity, Safe Harbor Pregnancy Medical Center among others in Escambia and Santa Rose Counties.
The Guild holds a biennial Quilt Show that hosts quilts made by our members that are of the finest quality workmanship. See the winning quilts on our 2020 Quilt Show webpage.
Guild meetings are now back on track. Both the Day and Night meetings are scheduled and will be held at the BAYVIEW SENIOR CENTER, 2000 E Lloyd St, Pensacola, FL 32503. See the Events Calendar for specific dates, times and program information.
Facial Coverings and distancing are recommended.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again it’s been too long.
Biennial Quilt Show
We were very fortunate to be able to hold our 2020 Quilt Show the weekend before Covid-19 shut down our community. The Board is in discussions about the next quilt show if it will be held in 2022 as planned or if we will have to push it out until 2023. Stay tuned here for more information.
