• Program - Make a Sudoku Quilt, Patti Struck - At the July day meeting we will be doing the preparation work necessary for you to go home and sew a Sudoku quilt. For this meeting you will need to bring the following:
• • 9 - 6 1/2" squares of 9 different fabrics. (A total of 81 squares) The fabrics should contain a variety of colors and textures (big/small prints) that play well together.
  • 9 - one inch scraps from each of the above fabrics.
    
  • 9 - gallon Ziplock bags labeled: top left, top center, top right, center left, center, center right, bottom left, bottom center, bottom right.
  • Place one square from each of the 9 fabrics into each bag.
  • Bring a pencil, paper cutting scissors and 100 pins.
  • When you are purchasing your fabric, you might want to purchase your sashing fabric at the same time. 1 1/2 yards should do it. If purchasing fabric for the squares, get 5/8 of a yard of each. There will be extra left for you to design your own border.
