GSQA Meeting Info

Pensacola Quilters Guild will host the Gulf States Quilting Association (GSQA) meeting on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Pensacola. (6 E. Wright Street). The meeting begins at 10 am and the doors open at 9 am for the additional activities associated with GSQA. The speaker at the meeting will be Emily Taylor, a collage artist who is giving workshops the two days prior to the meeting. (These workshops are already full and have waiting lists.) PQG needs worker bees for this meeting: a few volunteers to man the sign-in tables plus volunteers to run the door prizes around the room. We would like all of you to consider bringing “treats” for the breakfast table. (PQG used to also host a lunch, but in this day and age of Covid, we will skip that process and hand out lists and maps of good eating locations for people who travel from out of town. Breakfast treats need to be individually wrapped (if you make something homemade) or commercially wrapped (i.e. granola bars, packaged cookies, small yogurts etc.). Coffee service will be provided by the church. Sign-up sheets will be at the Sept. meetings. I hope you will assist. -- Cena Harmon
