By this date in December, registration for our 2027 quilt show will be closed and we might all be focused on finishing our show quilts. This is a good time to get tips—or even a pair of extra hands—to make sure you're headed in the right direction. Or maybe you simply want some companionship!
         Is there something you want help with? A refresher on how to calculate binding? Whether a quilt could use a little more quilting? How to make a quilt label? This SOS day will be devoted mostly to finishing techniques. We will focus on the topics you request.
          Maybe you only need a few minutes to confirm your plan of action; maybe you would like help with every step of binding—or something else. Maybe you only want a refresher on making perfect corner turns in your binding—maybe you don't know about "corner turns" yet! Perhaps you are wavering about the fabric for the quilt back. Send Judy Walker text or email describing what you want to address and we'll do our best to provide the help you seek.
          And since it's holiday time, what if we have a cookie bonanza and each bring a batch of our favorite cookies—enough to share and some to take home. So, perhaps you'll decide to simply bring your hand-sewing and join the festivity!

The bank is on the north side of Creighton, just east of Davis Highway. Enter from the back of the building, not the front. Plenty of parking behind the bank; turn right after you enter the bank parking lot and drive around to the north side of the building.
     If we can stand to stop for awhile, it's always nice to take a lunch break at the same time! Bring a snack or lunch plus whatever beverage you choose. There's no access to a kitchen or fridge. There are fast-food choices nearby but who wants to drive somewhere—and miss out on more sewing!
