Help make drawstring bags for Gulf Coast Kids House!
Short Notice, we know. But we sure welcome your help.

We have the terrific conference room at Hancock Whitney Bank reserved for a class with Melissa Staton to teach how to make quilted post cards. Unfortunately, Melissa Staton is not able to teach the scheduled class. We don't want the room to go to waste; and we have fabric and drawstrings ready for anyone who wants to help make more drawstring bags. Our last delivery to GCAF was in May and was huge. Recently we heard that they are running low. So, it's time to make more.
         Come and stay all day. Or come to make one drawstring bag. Or drop by to pick up supplies to make some bags at home.       
         So sign up now for this free  SOS. The bags are easy to make and the kids really use them. All you need is your sewing machine and usual sewing tools. We supply the fabrics and usual cutting mats, rotary cutters, irons, and ironing boards.

PQG provides irons and ironing boards, cutting mats, rulers, and a few rotary cutters.
          The bank is on the north side of Creighton, just east of Davis Highway. Enter from the back of the building, not the front. Plenty of parking behind the bank; turn right after you enter the bank parking lot and drive around to the north side of the building.
     Bring a snack or lunch plus whatever beverage you choose. There's no access to a kitchen or fridge. There are fast-food choices nearby but who wants to drive somewhere—and miss out on more sewing!
